About Us
Meet the Owner
Andy Dunlap has been on two wheels for as long as he can remember!
What started with BMX riding as a kid grew into a lifelong love of cycling. Andy taught himself the basics of bicycle repair early on, taking apart his own bikes and fixing them continuously as a kid who was rough on gear and was determined to enjoy the freedom that only a bicycle provides.
Andy has been working in bike shops since 2016. He has worked on nearly every type of bike, from entry-level bikes for the everyday commuter to competition-level road bikes and mountain bikes.

Lexington Bicycle Repair is here year-round to support the cycling community in Rockbridge County and the surrounding areas.
We are a repair-only shop. We don’t sell bikes or have a traditional storefront at this time, and instead focus exclusively on providing quality bicycle repair.

Most basic repairs (flat tire or brake adjustments) can be done the same day or the next day. More extensive work can take longer depending on the scope of work and the availability of parts.

It depends! E-bikes are quite different from traditional bicycles. Repairs on e-bikes are limited to mechanical components, and there may be an additional fee for some services. Please contact us to discuss your issue.

We are a repair-only business and do not currently have a retail storefront. Please contact us when you are ready to drop off your bike for maintenance and we’ll provide driving directions.
